Travel Lesson #1

I have officially lost my first expensive on-the-road item. So, here is my travel lesson of the day: do not, I repeat do not travel with expensive office supplies, mainly $110 pens. Because I'm neurotic about organization and my planner, I only use a specific pen for my planner - and that pen is now, most likely, on American Airlines flight 2006 back to Dallas, Texas. I'm hoping that it's not and it's somewhere in my luggage. Yes, I know, I'm absolutely ridiculous for a) traveling with something like that and b) being torn up about it. But, it's the little things that keep me sane. Except my sanity is out the window without it. It's a vicious circle.
